How to know it
  • A small, compact flycatcher with a round head. It is grayish-olive above and whitish below, with a dusky wash on the breast.
  • Features a prominent, bold white eye-ring that stands out against its head.
  • Two distinct white wingbars are visible on its dark wings. Juveniles may have buffy wingbars.
  • Possesses a short, flattened triangular bill, with the lower mandible typically pale.
