Canada Warbler
Cardellina canadensis · New World Warblers
The Canada Warbler is a small, energetic songbird recognized by its distinctive 'necklace' of black streaks across a bright yellow chest. This migratory species travels thousands of miles between its breeding grounds in North America and its wintering habitat in South America. It is often among the last warblers to arrive in the spring and one of the first to depart in the fall.
